How to - Cleaning and maintenance of the espresso machine
-For cleaning the espresso machine, you will need the following.
Cleaning powder – cleaning brush – 2 blind filters – a container.
- Use the blind filter to remove the baskets from the portafilter.
-Place the dirty baskets inside the container.
-Place the blind filters on the portafilters
- Use half teaspoon or the spoon from the back of the brush
-Press and hold the 3rd button to enter the cleaning programm
- Place the portafilters with the soap in the espresso machine
-press the 3rd button again to start the cleaning process.
- when the first step is done remove the portafilters and rinse them
-Place them back in the espresso machine without the soap
-press the 3rd button again and wait for the 2nd step to be done
- when it’s done use the brush to clean the sides
- press the 4th button to escape and finish the cleaning
- remove all the trays and clean them
- remove the blind filters from the portafilters and place the portafilters inside the container
-place 3 times the amount of soap from before and add hot water
-let it sit for 15 minutes.
-After the 15 minutes throw everything on a sink and rinse with water
-Use the yellow -shoft side of a sponge and use it to clean the inside of the portafilter
