How to - intro to the espresso machine
To open the espresso machine, press the button on the bottom. Make sure that both buttons on the right are open as well.
The espresso machine will take 10-15 minutes to heat up.
This is the switch for the hot water.
This is the button for the double espresso.
This is the single espresso button or flush button to use between every new shot to clean the leftover coffee from the one you did before.
This is called portafilter.
This is the steamer handle. It has 2 settings.
Pulling it down – the handle will return back up. Use this setting every time before you froth milk to flush out water and after you froth milk to flush out leftover milk.
Pulling it upwards – the handle will stay up. Use this setting when frothing milk.
Use 2 wet cloths - one for each steamer and a 3rd one for the surfaces.
Do not mix the cloths around – use each cloth for its designated purpose to avoid contamination.
Your espresso machine is ready to use.
